Course Description

This course is specially tailored for teachers and others in the education field who wish to work on their ability to communicate with Spanish-speaking students and their families. The course will focus on relevant vocabulary and structures related to communication in the classroom and the school setting, as well as cultural information significant to better understand the Latino community. Classes will offer ample opportunities for communicative practice to reinforce the vocabulary and structures studied in class.

Spanish level requirement: No previous Spanish experience needed. The course is designed for teachers and others in the education field who are interested in learning basic Spanish to communicate with Spanish-speaking students and their families.
