The 2024 SHRM Learning System is a comprehensive learning experience that helps you master the SHRM BoCK™ to advance your career and prepare for the SHRM-CP and SHRM-SCP exams.  The SHRM Learning System modules provide an in-depth exploration of the knowledge domains and behavioral competencies tested on the SHRM exams. The information is broken down into consumable topic segments to help understand and apply them for exam preparation or everyday practice.

My name is Claire Waters. I am the Human Resources Generalist for the Commonwealth of Virginia Division of Legislative Services. The SHRM Learning System through UMW was invaluable. It was so helpful to have a complete overview of the SHRM study materials. After the SHRM learning system class, I studied on my own for 2 months before sitting for the exam. As I completed my own studying, each concept was familiar as we had discussed it in class. The support from my classmates was so refreshing. I graduated from UMW in 2019 and coming back for a Continuing and Professional Studies course reminded me of why I chose to attend Mary Washington after high school. I took the SHRM exam 4 months after completing the course with no previous studying before the class began. I passed the certification. My results indicated that all of the competencies scored as areas of strength. I am thankful for UMW's course as it was a stepping stone to successfully passing the SHRM certification exam.

The University of Mary Washington SHRM Learning System Course was essential to my passing of the SHRM-CP. The materials were well worth the cost and the syllabus was easy to follow. I graduated from Mary Washington in 1994 and I have worked in human resources for five years. When I found out that UMW was offering the SHRM learning system course, I jumped online and registered for the course. Even though it was all virtual, I loved the experience of interacting with my instructor and fellow class mates. I learned so much and passed the SHRM exam to get my certification.
