Course Description

This 1 credit course focuses on collaborative practices that lead to responsive and inclusive K-12 educational settings. The course will focus on foundational collaboration skills that lead to effective co-teaching relationships. 

Course Outline

Educators will:

  • Evaluate factors associated with personal and school identity to increase effective collaboration

  • Define roles and responsibilities associated with co-teaching in specific school contexts

  • Identify practical strategies for co-planning, co-instruction, and co-assessment in inclusive schools
