Course Description

This course is designed for general and special educators in the middle and high school setting. Over several sessions, participants will discuss evidence-based strategies for setting up the classroom environment, creating grade-appropriate procedures and rules, delivering explicit instructions, and engaging with individual students and families. Other topics include: positive reinforcement, hierarchy of consequences, relationship building, and teacher well-being.  Participants will engage in synchronous and asynchronous activities and design a classroom management plan.
